Using them to isolate a tube head from a cabinet. The head was vibrating badly and this fixed the problem! The head probably weighs 25-30lbs.

These are perfect for my Yamaha NS1000 monitors! I wanted to get some isolation pads for them but was worried that a pad would just crumble under their 70lb weight each.To my surprise, they’re holding up perfectly and the gap between the pads doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would. Not only that, I didn’t even have to chop them up to line up with the edges of the monitors. I’d definitely recommend these if you have some heavy speakers to isolate.

Made an audible difference through out most of the frequency response, specially in the low end (100hz down to 26hz). By isolating the speakers you allow them to perform naturally with out resonance from their base such as a speaker stand or desk. Thus, isolating them from surrounding objects.Place your studio monitors 3 feet away from each other at a 60° angle facing you, making a triangle with the tweeter at ear level. Believe it or not this makes a big difference. Hope this helps.Such a small investment for better sound. I love these things!

The SMPads is a worth-buy when if you want to do accurate mixes in your home studio. In my test with a pair of Behringer Truth B3031A studio monitors, I could hear the difference in the sound compared to just placing the monitors on my desk. Sound is clearer, and the vibrations from the studio monitor that usually travels down to my desk are gone.I previously had the SMPad 5, which was great for 5-inch speakers. And I can confirm the SMPads are denser than the SMPad 5, making it suitable for larger studio monitors, even a sub-woofer – and in my case, the 8-inch Behringer Truths, which were around 35lbs a side. The pads, which are designed to take up to 75lbs held its shape beautifully.Although you can place different speaker angle configurations with the SMPads, I chose to use it flat, and in doing so, also adds to the thickness of the pads. depending on the heigh of your speaker placements, you might want to alter your speaker angles.In short, although not the perfect solution to completely isolate your speakers, I genuinely think it's worth getting a pair of these for your studio. For the cost, this would be the best more affordable solution to decouple your speakers without having to spend on hefty renovations for your studio.

Now, the review: these isolation pads work, and they work well. The set includes 8 pieces (4 per speaker) that let you adjust angles for perfect ear-level positioning. Options include level, slight or extreme angles, up or down. Simple, effective, and worth it!

I was skeptical. Now I am not. I have added them to all my speakers at this point. I like the two piece design for each speaker. A lot more versatile than the larger pads.

I LOVE the configurability of these. No matter the size or orientation of your desktop monitor speakers, these can bet set up to get the right alignment, and they're firm enough for heavier speakers while still being compliant enough to kill vibrations.

I was looking for a way to angle up my Klipsch RP-504 center speaker, and these work perfectly. The angle is perfect and the foam is firm and high-quality. Thumbs up!

Well, after getting a new sound bar and subwoofer and never having a complaint in 10 years , I finally got one. So, bought this and my neighbors have been quiet. I guess it's working and delivers great bass.

These foam speaker wedges come in pieces, allowing users to put them together to fit their specific needs. I use them with my M-Audio woofer. I set up the wedges so they angled the unit up nicely, then glued them together to form a single foam stand. The lip on the back holds the woofer in place without getting in the way of cables, heat sink, or controls. The vibrations on the floor are gone and these pads keep the woofer from moving around. A great value.

I placed these under bookcase speakers on a desktop. It seems that the sound is more detailed. The bass is cleaner sounding. Not a night and day difference but noticeable. I would recommend for desk top speakers

These work great for my Yamaha HS7s, and seem to bat outside of their price range too. Great size, great firmness - they seem very effective

I ordered these because I purchased a new speaker system for my computer and it has a rather large subwoofer and I found that it vibrates the floor and walls so much that stuff was falling off the walls and stuff was falling over in the basement, one floor down. These pads are perfect and make the sound much more clear and the walls/floor no longer vibrate. These are definitely worth the purchase.

I guess they get the job done well. The soundbar gives less vibration to the TV stand, and the subwoofer does less vibration to the vinyl floor. The foam pads are hard, thick, sturdy, which is why I give 5 stars. Just feel it is a bit pricey for what they are, just black color foam blocks/wedges, nothing is really special. Less than $20 probably makes more sense. Overall, I am a happy buyer.

Do to new TV and location, I used these pads on the arms of the Peerless Paramount PS200 A for a center channel that is about 22 inches wide. Glued pads to end of peerless arms. working great for a center channel above a 75" TV

Durable material, well made. They can be used at various angles. They include easy-to-follow instructions with different configuration options. They work perfectly.
